Default Front right wheel clunk

Okay, when I first start my '02 vette in the morning and back down my drive everything seems fine. I then slowly pull forward turning the car to the left and I feel a clunk in the front right and what I imagine to be a slight shift in the car in that area. After this happens it doesn't do it again until it gets cold. Am I starting to have a bearing go bad or a bad hub? By the way if I turn the car to the right the clunk doesn't happen until I turn to the left then it will but only one time. Any guesses?

Maybe a brake caliper hanging up? Just a guess.

Not a big deal usually. Just jack it up and remove the wheel and check all the suspension and steering bolts are tight. Especially the lower control arm bolts at the chassis. These can be loose and will pop if loaded or unloaded.

If you have lowered it in the front by cutting some of the rubber off the lowering bolts you may have rubbed what rubber is left off. If that is the case just get a sheet of rubber mat from hardware store and put under bolt or get new ones.

If that doesnt do it then you are probably lookin at a wheel bearing or a ball joint.
