A wind deflector which attaches to the top of windshield is available from the aftermarket companies. I bought one for my '96 coupe (I believe from Ecklers) and it worked pretty good. It is called a Wind Jammer. I have not tried the one for the C-5's. They cost around $150.00.
The thing I liked about the Wind Jammer was how it blended in with windshield slope and looked like a natural extension of the windshield as it was made of a smoked plexiglass strip about 3 or 4 inches wide. It is just enough to divert most of that turbulent air up and over your head. I believe this is a far better alternative that the awful (IMHO) looking frames with mesh on them that people put behind their seats.
Personally, I would rather be beat up by the wind than place one of those gaudy looking frames behind my seats.

BloodRayne...

Thanks for initiating such a post.

FLACHUSNRET...

Thanks for providing some insight with regard to this particular product. My brother's custom C5 came with one laying loose in the rear, and he still isn't sure what it actually is. He believes that it might be a rear roof deflector like the Ferrari 308s/328s have. Heck, now I can tell him what it actually is...thanks.

I sell the Vette Net's and everyone loves them that I have sold them to. I personally have one also and it is great. Easy install in about 15-20seconds and easy removal also.
