I used to live 7 minutes from my shop. It was all city driving with having to drive thru residential streets to avoid endless traffic lights.
Now my new shop is finished and I have moved to a small mountain town and the drive is now 30 minutes.
It starts with a great curving road down out of the mountain, then drops down into the desert. Then onto a 3.3 mile perfectly straight shot across the desert. One of those like you see in the car ads. then a right hand turn and another 4.5 mile straight away.
Often see triple digits on the hud without even trying. the V1 has only picked up Mr Chips out there twice.
Couldn't think of a better drive to work in a Vette.
Look forward to the drive every morning. This is what Vettes were made for.

Be still my heart. That would be so cool. My comute is 25 miles of bumper to bumper stop-and-go traffic. Driving the Vette with the manual tranny is no fun.
