I bought my 2004 C5 vette just a few months ago. I think my Christmas present to myself is going to be some mods. For a bone stock C5 what should I spend $2500 on? I had my heart set on a supercharger but I dont think I want to spend that much. Would it be possible to do a headers/heads/cam? Or should I go with headers and smaller bolt ons like a upgraded air filter?
I probably can do it myself but I really dont want to. I installed a full exhause on my 2002 WS6 and when I got done I told myself that I would never do that again. lol
3 months after I installed it I traded it in on the vette. I don't know why I put myself through this. haha
I have read good things about the LG long tubes....are those the best bang for the buck? Also, how much HP would be gained from aftermarket cats? I know they are really expencive, are they worth the money?

Gears.
If you have a MN6 - get 4.10s.
If you have an A4, get at least 3.42s - or better 3.73s. And a stall.
If you have a Z06 (MN12), think carefully before you swap gears.
$2500 will not go as far as you think unless you do your own work.
