Pictures do NOT do these things justice!!!! I'm waiting on Tire Pressure Sensors, Black Chrome lugnuts, and the WCC chrome TPS Retainer Nuts to come in. SHould be rocking the wheels and a drop by the end of the week!!!
Guys, these are from Bob @ House of Wheels. 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 machined face ZO6 w/black inserts, cost a whopping $740 delivered.
They're going on ASAP as soon as I have all the items. For anyone going to Carlisle you can see them in person in the Fun Field. For now, here's a photochop teaser of how they should look:
I think it's going to be killer, especially with blackouts and tint. Something I found that I LOVE about the wheels is that the machining is classic. Leaves the little machine lines that you've got to look for but are instantly recognizible. The clearcoat is really nice too, everything is VERY well done.
Sean, what were your reasons to use the same diameter rim for the front & rerar ?
Actually, I WANTED the 19's in the rear, but when I called Bob to check on the wheels status, he called the manufacturer and was informed that they're unable to do the 19's in the rear on these anymore, and that they had aparrently just destroyed 3 sets of 19's trying to machine them properly without any luck. So, I conceded to the 18's, but I'm ok with that because it REALLY opened up the tire options. I think I'll be VERY happy with the GSD3's sitting here.
