I have Borla cat back on my car now but I was looking to finish off the exhaust system. I have been searching the net for a nice set of coated headers and an x-pipe but I'm a little lost. Whats the "set to get" these days. Are there ones to stear clear of? I have read all good thingh about the LG long tubes. Are there any negitives to these? Whats a good site to order them from?
Also...are high flow cats worth the $$$? I see a lot of people that have them but how bad can the stock cats possibly flow?
Sorry for all the people that posted on my supercharger questions. I have decided to start with the small basic mods before I go and do something drastic like FI.
The car now is nice and quiet....no drone at all. Its only gets loud when I mash the gas. Cats will be staying on the car. I just cant decide wether to put high flow cats on or if the stockers are good enough.

if you are doing engine work then you will want to go with high flow cats. The stock cats can be restrictive.
I'm not really sure if they are coated or not but if not where is a good place to send them?
Would installing these onto the stock pipes be a bad idea? I was thinking the headers onto the stock pipes into stock cats then borla exhaust.
They are stainless steel and not coated but LG Will send em out to Jet Hot for you (around $500) before they ship em to ya or you can send em to Jet Hot yourself (maybe $375 + shipping to and from Jet Hot) and save maybe $100 by doing the shipping/retrun shipping yourself.
As for stock cats...you won't be able to use them w/ the headers as they are currently in the position that the headers will occupy.

In a nutshell, it keeps down heat which for me, I was mostly concerned with on outside of headers/exhaust. Less chance of affecting things close to the headers (starter, wires, etc.) w/ excessive heat. There are some claims that it also benefits exhuast flow by keeping heat *inside* the tube as well (I think).
I did it just to be on the safe side, figr'd "It can't hurt to do it".
