Default "Dive Suit" Slipcovers

Ecklers sells the following covers for C5 seats:

1997-04 CoverKing "Dive Suit" Slipcovers Black With Black Insert & C5 Logo"

Any pros or cons to be said for these "Dive Suits" especially for sport seats?

Thanks

By "Dive Suit" they of course mean neoprene (I don't know why they don't call it that, since it has a name!)

I'd stick with the original, which is Wet Okole (means Wet Butt in Hawaiian). Those have been around forever as a durable alternative for divers/surfers to put in their car to keep the sand/saltwater off the seats. They fit great and are very well made. You can usually find them on sale, new, for around $225 a set. If you just want black, then no problem, but I've heard from some of the other CF guys that they aren't completely happy with the color match with Pewter.

Worth the money, especially if you are in a hot climate (keeps your seat cool).

Pros: cool in summer, warm in winter. Helps keep leather in good
condition. Resists water and liquids. Easy to clean.

Cons: Styling is subjective. Some models hard to fit snug(Wet Okole are nice), corvette tax.

In summary, I have them and my torch red leather seats thank me for them and I give them a up!

I just put the Wet Okleys on mine and I love them. In the climate you're in I'd expect them to be a must. Now the only place I burn myself when the top is down is the console. Sorry you can only see the tops on the seats. I ordered black with yellow piping and the crossed flag emblem which was free. Fit is excellent, easy to install and keeps the seats cool. The yellow color match isn't perfect but close enough.

The only dn side is they hide your beautiful sport seat covers. I had a set for 4yrs and let me tell you my original skins where in excellent condition when I sold them. I upgraded my skins to these from ECS
