Default Chrome Lugs....

Any of the vendors sell sets of chrome lugs that DO NOT include 4 lock lugs? I just want chrome lugs for my stock wheels, the chances of people steeling wheels off a vette around here are similar to the chances of finding a piece of the sun in my back yard. Additionally I use an impact gun for everything and you cant impact lock lugs. They will steel the chrome 22s off the Escalade around the block first .

Just go to a local tire or auto parts store.

M12 x 1.5 cone seat is what you need - extremely common lug size used on many make/model cars.

I paid 79 cents ea for my chrome lugnuts at a local tire store.

I bought a set of polished stainless steel lugs on E-Bay. They look a lot better than the plastic cap thingies.

my local parts stores either dont have them or only have 3 sets of 4 lugs... QUITE useful!! I'll have to check the other thread....

Those plastic caps suck and im missing a bunch, and GM way over prices them

I had the OEM open face lugs with the plastic covers on my 2002Z. The lug nut locking set was in the trunk when I bought it. Grade school set-up. The GM stainless lugs are open-face lugs with a stainless wrap and are also inferior. I bought several from venders and returned all until I found the best out there. Try Gorilla #61137 bulge acorn 12mm x 1.5. Hardened steel with show crome finish and lifetime guarantee against rusting. They don't get any better.
