Quick and easy caliper clean-up (pics)
Got all my stuff at Wallyworld. Brass brush,.30 cal rifle bore brush, a small can of Rustolem aluminum paint, and some brushes.
Use the brass brushes to knock off as much rust and scale as possible, then use compressed air clean off the rotor.
The aluminum paint flows nicely into the rotor and levels out great. Wipe off any excess paint with a dry cloth.
Here's the before and after shots. Problably not for track usage, but on the street it will hold up nicely.

It looks really good. I really need to get myself a set of drilled / slotted, my car looks great but I think my brake setup deters from the overall look.
Great job on the clean-up.

Good Job!! I painted my new a/c delco rotors before I installed them last winter. Still look great today.

lol those are the rotors, not calipers. the calipers are the red things in your post...

No, i applied the powder to the full area and used a razor blade to remove the powder prior to baking
