Default B&B Bullet installation

I've been having a lot trouble with the B&B Bullets ever since I bought them. I've sent them back twice only to see the problem not fixed correctly. They finally sent me a whole new exhaust and now I'm having trouble with the install. The new system that they sent me uses clamps in between the two pipe sections. I connect the pipes together and then tighten the clamp, but when I start the car I can tell it's leaking right away. I've taken them on and off the car so many times to try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have their newer system that uses the clamps? If you do, how did you prevent the exhaust from leaking where the clamps are? Is there a precise way of putting it on to prevent it from leaking?

Thanks

I have had mine on for about 3 weeks now. They came with 3 inch band style clamps instead of flanges like in the picture on their website. No leaks at all for me and I feel having a slip joint made it easier to get the tips lined up.

Yeah mine has clamps too. Been a couple months since the install. I used an impact wrench to tighten it down... no leaks for me!

Sorry about yours - have you considered taking it to a shop, couldn't be more than $50 to get it installed.

GL to ya,
Dan

I ended up buying 3 inch NAPA Easy-Seal clamps when I had mine, since the B&B clamps stunk.
