Hi elctroman -

I used Redline light gear oil - some like Amzoil and I think that is good stuff too.

Others use Royal Purple.

here is what your owners manual says -

And here are some pics that might help from when I changed mine out -

Here is how I used a hex wrench and a deep well socket for leverage -

detail of the plugs -

best regards -

Hi guys-

You are welcome!

I forgot to mention that Amzoil, Redline and Royal Purple do not need the additional friction modifier specified in the manual.

I have personal experience with the Redline, and have read from other members here about the Amzoil and RP.

It's a 20 minute job with a $10 hand pump from walmart or autozone etc.

best regards -

Hi Mark -

He is asking about the differential.

I did put RedLine in my trans too - it was easier for me to get, but I have heard good things about the RP products too.

In fact - if you do have a manual, it's easy to go ahead and change that fluid out at the same time - that takes DexronIII ATF - I used the Red Line -

here are some pics of that process -

02vert -

I re-used the crush washer and have had no seeping or leaks.
