Mine came with dealer installed clear 3M material as edge guards.

The last time i ever saw door edge guards for a vette was when i had my 75 and they were chrome i bought them from one of the corvette companies but i dont even know if they make them or any kind anymore for vettes

If you have a PEPBOYS, you might check there. I don't use the product for door edge guards, but I've used it for other purposes. I've seen it in gold, silver, black, blue and red if I'm not mistaken. You might also check JC WHITNEY.
