I'd go with non-runflats myself (probably Goodyear GS-D3s or Firestone Wide Ovals), but if you want to stick with runflats, consider the Firestone Firehawks. I have a set and they hold the road pretty well.

Of course, I've managed to pick up a nail in the right rear already . But the plug kit, and compressor, I bought worked great! My biggest concern is that the tire goes flat with the pressure sensor on the "bottom" and gets ruined

02Vert, I do believe that there are newer sealent kits that don't harm the sensors, but I personally wouldn't use it. Like I said, the plug kit and compressor worked fine for me.

I'm also a non runflat convert -- just installed a set of GY GSD3s and what a difference! Carrying a low profile jack, NAPA tire plug tool and the Conti air compressor from Tire Rack. I feel the same way -- would not use the sealant for other than last resort. Was your puncture a slow leak? Were you able to plug the tire on the car? I'm always a little concerned about a front tire completely deflating and getting some quarter panel fiberglass damage if the car rubs on the ground.

Dave K.

It's hard to beat the KDs for value, performance and ride. Love them. Get a flat, call a hook. No problem. That's why God invented cell phones.
