Just need to get everyone's opinion. I'm looking at getting another vette. It turns out that my father in law may want to sell his. (my old one)
I sold it to him with the supercharger for 29K about a year ago. I'm torn between buying a Z06, a triple black vert or my old nassau blue.
I love my NB vette and it's already done the way I like it. My father in law has hardly driven it in the last year. I don't know what a fair price would be but I'm looking....
Any opinions?
I just read where a member yesterday sold his 13K Nassau Blue vert to a dealer for 25K... absolutely kills me.
Buy your old car back - it's your creation, you said you love it, and since you didn't unload it 'cause it was a problem car, you shouldn't have any reservations about owning it again.
Fair price in this family trade situation? That I don't know.
GET YOUR BABY BACK! Nassau Blue is the best color ever put on a vette. Sure I am bias, but that because I waited, and hunted for a NB vette before I bought. I am glad I did. Just my 2 cents worth...

Much as I love black convertibles, I would be very inclined to say buy your old car back. We don't often get second chances in life, you've already stated you loved the car - offer him $28K, and you're both winners!
I'd say the Z or the vert if you have the cash to do the mods you want. Nothin more fun than doing mods, Plus you never know one day you may end up with the old car since it's still in the family.Maybe you can fix up the new z- or vert and race the ol man for pinks..
Interesting dilemma. To take a step back or move on. There are a lot of pros and cons for any decision you make. I don't know if there is a wrong choice here.

Nassau Blue!!!! Nassau Blue!!! I get so many compliments on a daily basis on the color alone its nuts. Just sitting behind the wheel and seeing that color out front is just awesome. I'd probably get bored by every other color on the corvette lineup after a little while, so to me its a no brainer - even though keeping it clean is hard as heck (just detailed mine yesterday then it had to rain for 3 minutes today when I had it out, got home and cleaned it up again).
