I purchased a catch can for my ZO6 to reduce the amount of oil in the intake. I've read quite a few of the Corvette forums, and this seems to be a common problem that we all must deal with. Most of the catch cans I've seen go for between $65.00-$175.00. Here is the one I purchased. http://store.zerotek.net/unjdmalraoil.html
$36.99 is all I paid, looks like a sweet unit.
Very nice unit. Hard to believe the price when you consider what AGW is asking for theirs.
I hear that! I was amazed at how cheap this one was. I saw the AGW online and thought ebay would be the way to go. I just received an email saying it has been shipped. Should be soon, hope it works.
I just recently replaced my PCV valve and installed a compressor water catch from Home Depot. It was a HUSKY
1/4 In. Air Compressor Filter
Model HDA70400AV
that cost about 12 dollars at Home Depot.
I was surprised at the amount of oil I picked up that would have gone into the intake had I not installed it. I got the idea from a bunch of the LS1 people on another board. It is cheap looks good and you can see the amount collected.

I'm a member at LS1tech.com, yeah I've seen a few others that you can buy, just a small oil water separator will definitely work. If you get a chance, post some pics. of the installation. $12.00 is a great price to solve this problem for sure. I was talking to a buddy of mine yesterday that has one on his Mustang, he said they have deal with the same problem. Alot of guys build their own he said.
That system seems to be very well thought out. A lot of progressive levels to ensure the maximum filtration takes place. How often do they recomend it be cleaned? The filter and steel wool must require some timely maintnance schedule.

I guess it would all depend on how much/fast you're sucking oil into your intake. A member of another forum recommended it to me and said he emptied 2-oz in a 2-300 mi. interval. Not sure on maintenance, but I would think every oil change it may be a good idea to take it apart and clean it (which is very easy to do if you could see how it's made). I haven't got my car running yet so I can't give any of my own input on this product.
