We have a 3 car garage and 5 cars. Everyday we pretty much play musical cars. We always try and keep the two vettes in the garage along with the Hummer H1. This is always a very challenging task.
With the H1; it is such a beast that it cramps the whole garage and it makes opening the doors of the vettes very difficult.
My dad always trys to back the cars in perfectly to the point where the garage clears the cars by a few inches, so we have maximum room behind the cars to maneuver with. If we back the cars in too far we get yelled at and made fun of for not being a good driver...
Yesterday my dad takes the C6 out for a spin comes back and closes the garage on my moms LMB Z51 M6!!!!!!! It just scratched a few inches of the front, but its bad! The scratches are horrible!
We used some mcguires scratch remover but only got the minor scratches out.

My mom being into vettes her whole life is livid.
Any advise on scratch remover?
Um, what? If the scratches are really THAT bad and they're showing primer, what do you expect a scratch remover will do?
I'm pretty sure pictures will help those of us that have worked with scratches. Scratch-X is generally pretty good, but it depends if you're looking at clearcoat scratches or gashes to the primer.
Alright a lot of it was little scratches... In one point, on the tip, there is just a white mark the size of a dime. I think most are just little scratches to the clearcoat.
Any hekp would be appreciated.
I would do picks but my camera is at my buddys, maybe i can in a few days.

Scratch-x should normally do fine, unless you want to really get gritty and wet-sand the area, which some members have done to their vehicles, but I wouldn't recommend amateurs doing it. Not that it's hard, just that if you goof up, it's an expensive mistake.
Basically if your scratch-x isn't doing the trick, you can either wetsand the clearcoat or have a professional take a look.
A good rule of thumb is to run your fingernail over the scratch. If your nail gets caught on it, it's safe to say you won't be able to remove the scratch, only lessen its degree.

A rotary would possible take it out even further. What I would do is take it to a body shop. Inevitably they are going to tell you that you will have to repaint. They rarely turn work away, but in the case that they are telling the truth, I would attempt to wetsand. That way if you do screw up you just have to go to plan A and actually have it repainted.
Sell the hummer H1, and get the "nice" rides in the garage... Oh yeah... and beat the living **** of the garage door.....
I have my garage door set SOOO light that if it's cold out and it hits the end of it's track too hard it'll come up. - And it has a "break beam" on it.. if something is blocking it, it won't move at all..
Also I have "parking blocks" epoxy'd to the floor. You pull in till you bump it, before you bump the wall, and if your on it, you'll definatly clear the door!
For the sake of preventing future mishaps, hang a tennis ball from the ceiling with fishing line to use as a stopping point for each vehicle i.e when the ball touches the windshield it is time to stop the car. My $.02

Yep. Happened to me early in my ownership. Closed the garage door and scratched the back. A local mobile paint replair outfit made it all go away for about $150. Looks like it never happened.
To avoid a repeat, unless you have small animals or children to worry about, raise the electric eye sensors on the track to the same height as the bumper on the cars. That way, the door will NOT close unless the car is put away correctly.
Now when I pull in, I can see the sensor out of my passenger door mirror and know to stop when I see the indicator LED come on, indicating that the circuit is closed .
