Engine Dress Up
Thinking of dressing up the engine bay. I want to add painted fuel rail covers and tank covers etc. etc. When adding things like alternator cover, master cylinder housing cover etc. etc. Do I want to go with polished stainless or chrome. Can anyone share pros and cons to either?

Yes SS sux a waste of money..go chrome
Alternator, water pump, belt tensioner and throttle body are painted with aluminum paint gives it a clean and neat appearance at car shows. I have won a plaque at each showing

I'd go with the chrome - polished looks good until it starts getting scratched.

Chrome if you can choose. I have a lot of polished stainless and it will scratch if you look at it wrong. Looks great for a while then the scratches happen and it seems you can't stop them.

The SS engine dress up parts were a PITA, and, scratched up the very first day. Even a soft cloth can mar the finish!

I just noted you have a 99 - is that Mag red???
If so, I have a set of Mag red FRC's (see sig - same thing as on the pics).
Only thing is, instead of the 5.7L it says 427CID (I have a Lingenfelter 427)
PM me if interested.
