A Vette is an exotic - to 95% of the public.
The average man/woman on the street likely doesn't differentiate between a Porsche/Ferrari or Corvette.

)My neighbors - who most could easily afford a Vette - make comments to me all the time about how much money I must make since I own a Vette. I contend that if I had a 997TT (certainly an exotic by most standards) sitting in the same spot as my C5, the 'average' person - at least where I live - wouldn't process the difference.
