Great shots. I bet it burns those exotic boys up how the c6 z06(factory air stock) is busting their ***** for $$$$$$'s less.
No doubt. Can you imagine how many times someone must come in from the garage and say to their other half "Hon, I'm thinking of selling the F430 and buying a Chevy". Yes, I'm sure it must happen every day.

A Vette is an exotic - to 95% of the public.
The average man/woman on the street likely doesn't differentiate between a Porsche/Ferrari or Corvette.
On Sunday the some of the North East crew participate in an Exotic Cruise from Edgewater, NJ to Bear Mountain, NY.
About 130 sports cars showed at the meet point and about 100 went on the cruise. There were Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, Lotus, NSX, Renault, Maseratti, BMW, Audi and more. We had C4, C5 and C6 representing the Corvette community.
No egos, no controversy, everyone was friendly, cool and just happy to be out on a gorgeous day driving their sports car.

Great pics - thanks for sharing.
I love my Corvette and appreciate it's performance but, sorry, the only people I know that think that a car that you can buy for less than 15K is an exotic are people who own Corvettes.

Maybe not exotic in the true F/P car kind of way, but exotic as in expense. As inexpensive as they may be - Vettes are generally viewed as a 'toy' - an expense that the vast majority of folks can't afford.
The same average person on the street thinks all Harley's costs +$40K. (Guess that's good marketing )
My neighbors - who most could easily afford a Vette - make comments to me all the time about how much money I must make since I own a Vette. I contend that if I had a 997TT (certainly an exotic by most standards) sitting in the same spot as my C5, the 'average' person - at least where I live - wouldn't process the difference.
