what are my choices beside the k/n and vararam filter, i really want to use a paper filter for dailey driving as i don't think the vararam gives enough protection and don't like k/n or any oiled filters(personal preference) thanks for imputs. hope to be at carlisle fri and sat.
Do the K&N. If you have an air compressor or access to one, spray the oil on the filter then blow off the excess. Have never found oil where it should not be by doing so. Good luck.
Bang for the buck,I always go for the Blackwing. They dyno 1-2 HP less than more expensive(400.00+) filtrers and no one I know has ever hydro locked a motor with this set up.
I also like the Volant air bridge and at Xtreme we have seen some great #'s,with great engine protection.
Every system has gotten Kudos and dont let the under 250.00 price fool you Donaldson filters are on almost every fleet Semi on the road world wide.
Its the 1st mod Xtreme recomends for all current LS motors. We have a good inventory and you can click us on this forum as a supporting vendor and link to our site.
GREAT LUCKPS we also have 800.00 systems but dont let price fool you lots of air intake surface area as large as >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.????????????????????? ? system at 1/3 the price.
