Good Luck or Bad Luck?
I just came back from my local dealer, who installed a new battery in my '04. My milage is at 35,802. This AM after using car the day before on 110 mile dinner run, DEAD BATTERY...completely dead. NO WARNING!
Nothing happened when I turned key...NOTHING.
So, the new replacement battery is factory replacement, does not look like orginal. 7 year 680 cca. Warranty on new battery is 198 miles...my 36000 mile orginal warranty.
Am I lucky or not?

The new battery should have a warranty from the manufacturer.

Is your alternator charging your battery? Check your voltage level with the car running. Should be a little greater than 14 volts.

Luck not changing....
Just droped car off at dealer this AM again! Dead battery again today. Talked to mechanic who confirmed battery tested bad yesterday. He is looking for battery drain today. I will post more later. After jump start I am seeing 13.3 or 13.4 volts... seems like it was 14.1 before problem. Could it be the "K" relay they installed to fix collumn lock?
