Default Window regulator replaced

My drivers side window finally gave up and would not roll down. I had to take it to the stealership for repair. I dropped it off this morning and had it back in the afternoon. Boy was I glad I purchased extended warranty. API covered the whole repair, they even replaced the clip that holds the glass from moving when the glass is down and the door is shut. The whole repair would have cost a whopping $471.34. I only paid the $100 deductible. I paid $1100 for the warranty, and that is the best $1100 I have spent on my C5. Extended warranty really works.

My Carmax warranty for 1300 bucks saved me the work on the motor and labor for the passenger side. It would have been like 450 bucks. I paid a 50 dollar ded.

Good deal. I believe in the extended warranties too, especially for a Corvette - there are a lot of expensive parts on the car.
