Stainless scratches very easily. Chrome is more expensive....pick your poison.

Both are good, but be careful cleaning stainless - it does scratch very easily.

While chome is more expensive, it will look much better for a longer period of time. I'd go with the chrome.

Stainless steal is better than crome only because crome holds more heat and you want to keep the motor as cool as possible but if it on a part that not mounted on the motor than is your call as to what you want.
