Default Need help with Side Vent Screens -DIY

Hello all. I am looking for a DIY templet for a C5 for a friend.
I have done it on my C6 and would like to help him do his.

I can not find a templet for the C5.. in the search thread or missing it!!!

The template is not something you need to search for. Simply trim a piece of cardboard to fit with a 1" overlap all arounnd. Stick the cardboard inside the vent opening and trace the opening to it. Then cut around it by one inch. One side will be held in tight by the plastic vent cover that's already there. The otherside will need to be bent 90 degrees to fit up against inside of the fender. Then you will just need to get some industrial strength velcro at home depot and glue it to the wire screen. When you actually install the screen the velcro will hold it to the body panel and the plastic will hold the other side tight against the opening. You'll want to drop the access panel to get inside the fender.
