Default Dyno Numbers!

Hello Everyone,

I just got back from A&A Corvettes after tuning my car. Below I will post some pictures of the dyno results. The car is a 2004 Z06 and the mods are LG Pro Long Tube Headers w/o cats and Callaway Honker Intake.

Stock power was 355rwhp/350rwtq

Headers/intake no tune 360rwhp/352rwtq
Headers/intake aggressive tune 402rwhp/387rwtq

Headers/Intake tune for 91 Octane 392rwhp/385rwtq, the tune I kept for the street.

Well, these are my numbers and I am very happy with the performance, tell me what you guys think!

Andrew M

P.S - Too bad SoCal has such bad gas, would have been nice with the aggressive tune.

Its not as aggressive as it could have been, the tuner speculated that he would be able to get as much as 410rwhp out of it, if he really pushed hard.

But as it stood there was no chance of better than 91 octane, and I was not about to start adding fuel modifiers on every tank.

The tune that made 402~403rwhp had 25degrees of timing and was at 13.6:1 afr.

I was more surprised than anyone, was hopping for 390rwhp.

The tuner said that its a freak, but I highly doubt it. It didnt make very special hp in stock trim, and I am not a believer of factory freaks.

What I personaly think made it happen, and the tuner tought it might be the reason as well is that its an 04. And it just had the right combination of aftermarket parts.

Either way I am happy, and would be very surprised if another 04z in propper working order wasnt able to make the exact same power or more with higher than 91 octane.

I have heard a few cars running exhausts and they seem to be louder then mine. At idle its pretty tame, higher rpms it sounds mean. Although by removing the cats the droning in the cabin was greatly reduced. It is a lot easier to talk to someone at freeway speeds.

DaBeast,
Yes stock exhaust.
