If you have Dex in there now- use Dex to refill, though other brands say the mix with anything...your best bet would be not to mix it...If you are changing the coolant all together- then this is where the "great debate" comes in...
I use Dex in my 00 and did so in my 97 when I changed the coolant...others will say the green stuff is better then the orange stuff for aluminum engines...so it usually turns into a pissing match! there are tons of threads comparing both...try the search above on the subject.

with both of the above - I wouldn't mix Dex Cool with the green stuff, and when I had my radiator flushed and filled - I refilled with Dex Cool. It is important to use de-ionized water, don't use just tap water. The minerals will cause corrosion and other problems.
