Does the removable top store in a special place in the car or does it just sit in the hatch area? I would think it would take up most of the hatch room if it does. Also, with the roof off, is there any secure storage area as the hatch area would now be accessible from inside the car?

Thank you,

Joel B.

It stores in the hatch area, and mounts soild to the car, will not move around while driving. It does take up alot of space but sits at an angle so there is some room under it, in front of it, and in the cargo area storage compartments.
When the roof is off there is no secure area to store things except the glove boxes.

Put the roof in with the front of the roof facing towards the rear of the car. Slide the locking mechanisms into place and you're good to go.

agree with the others. let me note that one can get a surprising amount of stuff in the back of a coupe when the glass roof is locked in the back. bub

there is a little bit of space when you have the roof in back, however, if you have the factory 12 disc changer like I do, you can't really put a whole lot in the cargo hole area...still for being a sports car with removable top, I am happy with the space I do have

You also need to make sure that you have the mounting pucks installed on the floor of the cargo area. I have seen some owners remove these for estetics, so if the car is new to you they may not be there.

Some probably leave it at home when they go out, I could never do this as my car has this uncanny ability to attract rain when I drive it.

with what TroutFisher says. Even with the top back there, there is a lot of room.
