My top leaks every once in a while and I use a spray silicon grease to cure the problem Spray some on a clean cloth and rub ( light coating) on the weather stripping. Helps keep the weather stripping flexible , which in turn helps the glass and top adhere to the weather stripping. Just my .02 worth, work's for me.

Is that GM spray silicone? I was looking if they made spray silicone in a can. I use the silicone grease in a small tube, seems to work ok.
I have an '02 vert and do not have any leaks. I use di-electric grease. It is a gel silicone product that comes in a small tube like toothpaste. You can buy it at GM dealers for about $40. I went to a Honda motorcycle shop and bought it for $20. Others on the forum have told me I could have gotten it cheaper at an electrical supply house or a tool store.
Simply rub a thin coat of the gel on all your rubber gaskets and rub it in well. It will make your gaskets and seals very soft and pliable.
Also I have heard from some on here that leave their vert top unlatched when parked in the garage with a "remove before flight" red tag hanging on the latch handle so they don't become a member of the "FRC". Leaving the top unlatched allows the seals/gaskets to swell back to their original shape. There are even people on here who leave their doors ajar when storing their car to allow the gaskets to retain their original shape. Good luck in solving your leak problem!
