I'm so close!
ahhh
I actually came VERY close to ordering parts for it last night after i got my paycheck in and realized how much extra money I got. Then my rationality kick in and I realized that I should probably wait. lol
I was abit nervous and timid about buying a first year production vehicle but you guys resasured me that it will be fine. oh by the way, It's a 97 , black on black 6 speed coupe fully loaded. Exactly what I was looking for. I talked him down to 20,000 which isn't bad because it only has 40,000 miles , Y2K rims with full tread on it.
I was going to take out a couple extra thousand and put a flip out DVD player , boston acoustic pro compoents , and 15% tint.
Then after that I'll let the modding begin! I was going to get a few small cosmetic and performance things out of the way first and then the serious stuff! This will be my second LS1 so I was defintely wanting to do a head cam package after I get the exhaust and intake out of the way.
My over all goal with this car is to almost make it a z06 coupe hybrid but with some really clean flare. I already have everything picked out I want to do haha. So how about some recommendations? what are some MUST have modifications. Like I know with fourth gen f-bodys the two first things you should do is a LID and sub-frame connectors.
Alright I'll stop rambling now. But just wish me luck!
I would also wait to place the orders! Two deals fell through before I actually bought mine. Good thing to because the 98 red/black I finally got was the best deal anyway. Might as well order all the catalogs, they're free.

and premanture Congrats on the purchase. Remember.....you'll have plenty of time to catch the mod fever after you have the deal done. Good luck and let us know the outcome.
