I went Friday. Had a great time. Met a dozen members at the grandstand for a group picture. Found a vendor "Small Parts", that I had never seen before. I was like a KID in a candy shop. Found every "little thing" on my list in one place.
$12 to get in and $10 to park. It cost my friend and I $32 inlcuding parking just to get in driving a C6.
I think that is a lot just to walk around. It used to be $7 a few years ago. Food was obviously high also. You can park off grounds for $5.
Still a lot of fun but it almost wipes out any savings if you are only looking to purchase small dollar items.
I heard Carlisle may be selling that facility and moving to another place soon. If the price goes up any more it won't be worth it. I will buy via the Internet.

iagree with the prices its getting very expensive. Now u know why lance bought 4 corvettes this yr we are all buying his cars for him. its a good show but prices are out of line a bit.
FYI there was a map of the grounds on the Carlisle events web site. I printed it out and it was a little helpful with finding things. Still tough. They could do some more row marking.
I'm told there were printed maps handed out on site. Wish I'd found where they were. The rows could have been marked a little better, too.

your points are well taken; i cannot even imagine the expense that lance & co incur to stage such an event (liability being what it is these days). some of us go to enjoy the cars & the company of those who love & drive the corvette. for lance to put up such a show, for several thousand of us, it's money well spent. we're already looking forward to next year. bub
It's a days outing for me and my friends. We enjoy walking around seeing the cars and people but it has really gotten expensive just to walk around. I have been going for 9 years and really enjoy it. Are the Ford, All GM, Mopar and other shows the same price?
I certainly hope if they buy another place they continue to do it but at least make it reasonable to get in.
See you next year.

I asked Scott from Carlisle Events and he firmly stands by the statement that the rumors about the military buying the fairgrounds, etc. are NOT true. Carlisle Events is staying.
I was there Friday. That burn-out thing was crazzzzy. It was fun as always.
My only regret is I got a check engine light on the way home. I guess she's mad at me for not taking her out more often.
My fourth year in a row...look forward to it all year despite the 4 hour drive from Long Island. Got Corsa Pace Cars installed and a few other goodies...just to wander around a see all the different vettes new and old

Not sure BUT I have a seasons pass...or should I say ticket....It cost me either 69 or 79 dollars...which allows me to enter every day...for every event... Parking is usually off the property because the larger shows HAVE NO PARKING.,..its all vendors so I do have to pay to park...
I can walk in the gate (or drive in) free but would still have to pay to park ...and since I "do" the fun display I do PAY the full boat (55 bucks..which includes parking and my wife)...
You bet Carlisle is more expensive then it used to be..BUT so is everything else...Parking also used to be free for Corvettes at THe Corvette show...those days are gone...
orriginally planned to just attend on Fri and leave Sat. am. Glad I didn't. The weather was much better on Sat. and I was better rested after the drive in on Fri. I was actually able to find everything that I was looking for on my list and at a savings. Got to talk with Ernie at Breathless Performance about my Vortex Air Rammer, and the best was able to meet the guys on this forum for the group photo on Sat. My only regret was that I didn't get to socialize with the forum at Friday's dinner. Hopefully next time
