For some reason my battery wont stay charged because something is draining it! I cant figure out what it is. I can hear something running, and it is coming from under the hump where the shifter is. Its not my computer either. The battery is new and so is the alternator. Can anyone help me out. thanks

You're going to need an amp meter. One like this...
Place it around the positive battery cable to see the draw. Once you've established that the battery is drawing down - you have to start pulling fuses one at a time until you find which one stops the draw. Remember that there are two fuse blocks - one in the passenger footwell and one under the hood next to the battery. I would start with the one in the footwell, since you say the noise is coming from under the console.
Ok thank you, does anyone know what fuse this is, or has had this same proplem. That would save me some time. thanks

Well - according to my service manual - that circuit is the hazard switch. I know the hazard switch also controls the turn signals - I assume those work as well? I have to admit, at this point I'm stumped. I would think if you pulled fuse #15, your hazard lights would not work. When you re-install the fuse, does the sound resume, too? Maybe you should get another 20A fuse....
Well thats what i was thinking also, but my hazards still work for some reason, would it be unsafe to drive the car? and yes when i put the fuse back in it continues.

I don't think the car is unsafe......maybe someone else will jump in. At least you found whatever it is that was drawing down the battery.....hopefully.
Nope, that wasnt it. The battery still went dead after pulling that fuse out. Mybe its just a bad battery. But it is only 2 years old.

Ouch, the battery thing can be very hard to figure out...2 weeks ago I took off the registration off of my camaro and left it in the driveway for about a week...I then tried to start it and the battery was drained, it took me 2 days to realize that the latch inside the glove box was broken and that the bulb remained on even thought the door closed.
I hope its something like that. That would be an easy fix.

Well i figured it out! The fuse i pulled, went to the motor in the passenger seat. That was draining my battery. So i also got a new battery, and now im good to go.
