Tunnel plate heat reduction...
Ok so I had my LG LT headers put on at Carlisle. I had them drop a tunnel plate on while they were at it.
So, here are my thoughts after driving it for a day...
1) The car is stiffer, hard to explain, but seems to be more solid over bumps...seems to not want to lift the LF end as much in tight speed corners...
2) There is a big reduction in tunnel heat. I went from STD exhaust to LT Headers and there is a 35% - 50% heat reduction, if I was to guess...
Would I do it again?
Not just for the mod, but if I was dropping the exhaust for any reason, I would put one on for sure...
