Was out looking today , do you all like the body side molding or not ? Does it help for protection ?
What do the sport seats look like compared to the standard seats ?
If a coupe only has the transparent top, how much is it to buy a solid painted top so you have 2 options? I would like the 2 top option but dont always see them.
I also saw some that has a sport / tour ride setting , is this an important option or is it part of a certain package ?

I dont like the body side molding, but some do. Some say it helps for protection against door dings, but I try to never park my car next to others.
I dont have a picture of the sport seats, but they have the hole beneath the headrest for different seatbelts and have embroidered corvette lettering on them. As well, they have power lower-lumbar adjustment and lateral side bolsters which the other seats do not (correct me if I'm wrong).
About the tops, the one is lexan and the other is painted. Painted tops vary in price (going by Ebay) from $25 with many scratches/digs to $700. It also depends on the color of the top, some are more rare to find than others. I find average price to be around $350 for the standard colors and $600 for the more rare. Most glass tops with a scratch or two usually run for $450 - $500. Odds are you wont be travelling around with both tops, so be prepared to store one.
The adjustable settings (Tour/Sport/Performance) are part of the real time adjustable damping system found on the F45/F55 cars (though the F55 only has 2 settings, but is a more pronounced difference and is on 2003 model year and up). I have a 98 with F45 and I love it, though some dont like it since they cant tell the difference when the dial in another setting (where I live, you really can feel the difference).
Hope that helps!

I happen to like the body side moldings, but many don't. If you are looking to buy a car, don't let that be a deal breaker. If the car has them on there and you don't like them, you can always remove them or vice versa. And, if you want both tops and the car only has one, you can usually find one for sale here on the forum at a decent price (usually around the $500 or so mark).
GM discovered after installing the BSM, that they actually help with air flow over the sides of the doors. They are mounted too low to protect against another door or even your door if it gets banged. IF you want them off, its a very job. So, whatever trips your trigger.

Sorry, but I must differ with you. BSM's do work . I've got a nice ding in my BSM due to some ignorant slob opening his/her door into my Corvette. Had it not been for the BSM, my door would have caught the full brunt of the careless slob's door. And, no matter how hard you try to park your Vette in a safe place (and I do), some azzhole will park next to you.
I don't like the bsm's, but as others have said, easy to add/remove.
I like the adjustable suspension. My 04 has just the two settings and there is a noticable difference between the two. Some have complained about the three settings but I have no experience with that set-up. I do think it's 03-04 with the two.
