Where can I find info on how far we can drive on run flats before repair? I remember hearing the goodyear's are 250 miles, but others are only 50 to 100 miles. Is there a list somewhere?

OEM Goodyears (the original ones) were good for 200 miles then replacement was needed. The newer generation Goodyear runflats (those on the C6) are good for 100 miles. Firestone Firehawk runflats can go 50 miles. Not sure about the Michelins.

The GY EMTs for the C5 are only rated at 200 miles for run flat incidents. My understanding is that the newer generation GY EMTs used on the C6 are rated for 100 miles, but these currently are not available in C5 sizes. Also, several manufacturers say their run-flats are not to be repaired after any run-flat incident and must be scrapped. See about 3/4 ways down in the article below.
That article is exactly what I needed. It looks like only the goodyears will go over 50 miles when flat. But they are also the loudest. So I guess I need to search for some sound proofing material now.
Just my experience, but:
Before I got rid of my runflats, I had a flat. Fortunately I was able to plug it and go, within a mile or two.
Driving on a deflated runflat was like chalk on a blackboard. You may be safely able to limp 100 - 200 (whatever) miles, but I can't imagine ever running that tire at high speed again.
Get a plug kit and compressor and then get some decent tires.
