Garage for the C5 ????
Ok I need some ideas for my Garage. I am tired of walking out and seeing the Vette sitting on the concrete floor and all my stuff out in the open. The vette looks lost in the junk...
I want to have cabinets and then do something to the floor.
Of course Cost is an issue. I looked on line and the prices for cabinets is up there so maybe there is an alternative or maybe I just bite the bullet for this project.
I am also adding a lift. The rafters are about 10 feet from the floor and then it is all open up to the roof line.

As for cabinets, you might be able to find some on clearance or special at a place like Lowes or Home Depot. So many things you can do to a garage floor from epoxy paint to tiles. A number of forum members have put down some flooring in their garages - do a search and you should be able to come up with some ideas.

I think I am going with epoxy floor because of the lift.

Married? Take out a 2nd on the house, give your wife a remodeled kitchen for her birthday/anniversary/Arbor day...whatever, and voila! Those old kitchen cabinets look pretty good in your garage.
Known many a man to re-do their garage this way.

my cabinets in the kitchen are solid wood. I just had them redone last year 
good idea though....

There are often ads in the classifieds in our area where people have remodeled a kitchen and are selling off the old cabinets cheap - I have been thinking about that as a way to put cabinets in my smaller garage to store stuff.

Thanks I will start to look around.
I thought someone told me once that Home Depot or other places have cabinets that are not 100% straight that they sell at a discount. I wonder where to look for that.
