quick question for alignment..$100??? really that much
hey guys i have an alignment problem and the buffalo tire car care place is going to charge me $100...is that too much or is this normal for corvette's? thanks

I paid 180 for a custom 4 wheel alignment, so 100 sounds about right for a STD one...

Yea, that's about right when they have to do a four wheel alignment on these cars.

I think 70-110 is reasonable. I have a place around me that is among the BEST, and he'll do an alignment to any specs I want for 79.95.
Places like NTB charge like 90 for a 1 year alignment, 130 for a 3 year, and 170 for a 5 year, roughly.

$100 should get you a 4 wheel alignment.
Around here, the average cost for a 4 wheel laser alignment is $65-$70.
One new shop will do Corvettes for $30. He is trying to get new customers buy has the newest equipment and experience from an alignment shop in Ft. Worth.

Yeah, you're WAY off base, you may mean a laser beam alignment or a high speed BALANCE, but not both! I'm an alignment technician, it's $95 at Sears Auto w/ 3months/6K miles warranty, and they use wireless 4 wheel Hunter machines, so $100 is reasonable for this type of car, but it it utmost imortance that you find a good technician who is experienced with C5 vettes or high performace cars whether you pay $59 or $200, that's the key!
