Ok... bought my Z06 used .... bout 18 months ago.... still have no clue what this is used for..... Someone enlighten me please .. :-)

Is that in the trunk? I'd say it's for the cargo net, but not really sure.

Would be extremely helpful if you told us approximately where the picture was taken (area of the Vette).

it is the anchor to which you attach the belting to secure a child's car seat in place.
