The first time it took me about an hour. I've done it about 4 times now and it's really easy. Just follow Rich's excellent instructions.....piece 'o cake!

The kit version is literally a blanket that is embroidered. You remove your crappy looking hoodliner, layout the blanket so that you have the emblem centered where you want it - and use the spray high temp adhesive (supplied) to stick the blanket at the top.
Then you apply the adhesive to the rest of the hoodliner, and you form the blanket into molded portions of the hoodliner. Once it's done you flip it over, trim the excess, leaving about 2" all the way around.
You spray more adhesive on the remaining 2" border and start trimming and sticking, wrapping the blanket over the edges.
Then you take a soldering iron hot and push it through the holes where the retaining plugs go through. You use the soldering iron so that the material doesn't fray. You install the finished product using the new retaining plugs that are supplied. Done!
If I made it sound easy...it is.
If you buy the entire hoodliner already done - all they do is install the blanket over a new hoodliner and ship it to you. By purchasing the kit - you save money on their labor, you save the cost of a new hoodliner, and you save the much higher shipping cost of shipping this big flat box versus a small box with the blanket and the supplies.
If you have any more questions - feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to help you out!
