Paint peeling off wheels
Just bought a 2000 FRC. 51,000 miles. It has the factory painted 5 spoke wheels. All the silver has peeled off and they now look brass. Is this normal? Should I repaint them? Maybe have them powder coated? Suggestions???

Are you sure they're not the optional MAG wheels(RPO N73)? Never heard of all the paint peeling off. If it did it would be the color of aluminum.

My 2000 as the optional wheels. When I got it it had a chip on the edge but the dealer brought in someone to fix it...now you cant tell. When the paint chips you can really tell the paint is pretty thick.

Post up a pic of your wheels - perhaps that would help. If the stock silver wheels are peeling, then you can repaint them - a good body shop should be able to help you out.
