NEED HELP with corvette key please...
I purchased a corvette key from Southern car parts. This is the flip key built in with the fob. The key works great and so does the fob, but the fob is always in the passive position. My vette is a 98 and has the passive entry system that I cannot cut off with the new fob. Anyone have one that knows how to cut it off. I hate my car locking and unlocking even when I am just walking around the house with my key in my pocket. I am waiting to here from Southern car parts, but no reply so far.

I don't have one, but as I understand it you should be able to open it up and manually switch off passive mode on the board inside.
