Thanks to the LS1Tech FAQ on C5s. I don't know why there are such variations between the Z06 weights - maybe its by year in chrono order. Hope it helps.
I need to smack someone then. They told me it was the same weight. Seems like I'm adding at least 15 pounds to the car damn it. Oh well whats done is done. Good thing I weigh 175 lol. The bullets shipped weighed in at 45 lbs boxed so figure 2 pounds for the box and light foam stuff. 43 pounds is 15 pounds heavier.
The stock ti mufflers weigh rite at 13.5 lbs per side. The B&B bullets are 18 lbs per side, with clamps (4 tip/outlet),so its really just a 9# gain. The total stock exhust,(ex. man. to tail pipes) weigh in at 96 lbs. A complete dynatech header/cat back combo, with the B&Bs weigh 95lbs. So you not only save a lb overall, you shift the weight balance to the rear, were its needed. Not to mention 25+hp to the wheels, and awsome sound to boot!
