Oh,
One cool thing for those who have not attended before, Thursday night they will have parade laps for the first 100 corvettes signed up. Its free and Fun, you get to drive the track for about 3-4 laps
Its alot of fun, and there is usually someone taking shots of you, that you can purchase for about 10 bucks

Truthfully, in the past I have gone on Thursday and Friday and watched the race at home. I enjoy the Corvette Coral, getting to talk with the drivers and GM people. The drivers usually come up to the Coral and vote on best Vette etc. GM has a nice hospitality tent, and there are a ton of "Corvette People" to meet and talk with, plus a ton of cool Vettes to check out.
