Headlight Question?

Headlight Question?
I did a search but didnt see anything that would fix my headlight problem so here goes...
My driver's side headlight a few weeks ago wouldnt come up when I would turn them on. If you turned them off then back on it would come up. Now, whenever I turn the fog lights on, the lights come up. There not on, they just come up. When I turn them off, both lights go back down and then the drivers side light motor sits there and grinds for a few more seconds. I was thinking it was the cheap plastic gear, but I dont know.
Any ideas?

Headlights coming up when only the parking lights are on is a classic symptom of the headlight gear issue. Did you look at the sticky thread at the top. There's almost a full page devoted to this in the very first section....
