Just got a 2004 ZO6 after 2 other C5s. I was surprised to find that the power bolster adjustments, Power passenger seat and tire monitor system were all missing. Were they an option, and what options were available. The ZO6 is one great ride with or without them!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance for the education.
The only options on the 2004 Z06 were body side mouldings, memory package for seats and mirrors, automatically dimming mirrors, mod red interior, the Z-16 Lemans option and the yellow paint option. I think that covers it.
It's funny in a way. When I got my '02 Z I thought the thing was plush.. way more creature comforts than I expected. I had read reviews about the ride being rough and to get a regular C5 because the Z06 was best left for the track.. blah blah. Stupid magazines basically. I came from a Fox body Mustang with extensive suspension and drivetrain mods *cough*polishedturd*cough*. The Z is like a Cadillac and IMO, for me anyway, has more creature comforts than necessary, especially for a car designed to be track ready.
Then again, maybe I'm too hardcore. I'd be fine with manual windows and door locks. All in all though I'm impressed that Chevy was able to make this thing as light as it is with the creature comforts that it has. Looking at other sports cars they're usually under powered or heavier by comparison.
