Hey Tim, if you are going with headers at a later date just wait till then for the x-pipe as most header systems offer the x along with thier system. I got the Dynatech system and everything came with the system, that way you know it will all fit together Go ahead and run the Bullets without the x for now Can't wait to hear that bad boy
I just put BB Bullets on my '01 stock A4 and don't like it. Bad anoying resonance on acceleration. Make sure you hear it on your car before you install or you may be disappointed. I'll probably buy a Borla Stinger in the future and take this annoyance off.
I asked this question earlier, and was convinced by fellow forum members that if you aren't going to go with new headers as well, don't bother with the X-pipe. Total waste of money, I was told.
Hmmmmm, link?
I cannot envision anyone telling you NOT to install an "X" pipe
Thanks for the advice. It sounds like the most people think that an X-pipe is unnecessary. Even the guy I am currently buying a bullets cat back from has used it without an x-pipe and said it was great sounding. I can't wait to hear what you think of the bullets...keep us updated. I should have mine in about a week hopefully.
