Hey fellas, I want to know if I want to ship my stock exhaust (catback), how do I do it? I mean do I wrap it, put it in a huge box, or what?

Thanks

When I bought my Z06 catback, they wrapped the tips & flanges in bubble-wrap, then used the heavy-mil shipping plastic to wrap each piece. Slapped the shipping labels on the plastic. Cost was about $50 (UPS) from WI to CA.

$50 for the Ti's buddy... they are half the weight of a stock exhaust. So for stock it would be more like $100. Thats crazy...

I had mine shipped standard parcel post by the post office. Much cheaper -- and they wrapped 'em. They put the cans in cardboard and wrapped the pipes. Arrived safe and sound.

Hey bro - that's not exactly how the shipping works - double the weight doesn't necessarily mean double the shipping..

FWIW, I don't think the Ti's are half the weight of the stockers.

From the sticky:
Cat-back Exhaust
17 lbs per side - Z06 Ti - Src
24 lbs per side - OEM steel - Src

FYI - If you ship them together and/or box them, UPS may rate on dimension first and then weight, pushing the shipment into a oversize category.

Use this link to estimate cost: http://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request

Bubble wrap the tips/flanges as mentioned by HummelS above and you're good to go

If you had Tis or aftermarkets I was about to say: first wrap them up, then label them to Victoria, Texas

That's the way I would do it.
