OK, I know this is trivial, but it's buggin' me. My '99 came with the "cargo net" (listed as option D42 "luggage shade and parcel net"), but when I bought the car from the original owner, the net was not installed. I found it in one of the rear storage wells, and figured I'd attach it... mainly out of curiosity. But, apparently the "hooks" or whatever that it is supposed to attach to missing... there's no place that I can see to attach the net. Anybody got a pic of how the thing is attached?
look behind the wheel humps in your trunk, two on bottom and two under quarter panels, I call em bull-horn screws (rubber) - jus look around with a flash light you'll see em - i was actually missing one when i bought the car, so hopefully, you'll have at least one in there to see what I am noting

Nope, just checked again, especially where you suggested, and there's nothing there. Thanks for the quick info, though.
How are the "bull-horn screws" attached? Do they look like something that can be purchased and installed back there pretty easily?
ok the cargo net itself does not have hooks ,but if you slide your hand beside both lights in the back as soon your hand stops feel up and you will find what feels like a round hoop.it has a small slit in it .that where u slide the net in to hook it.same thing on the bottom .hope this helps
I ordered the cargo net and shade package with my car. When it came in, the screws/hooks were included in the package. The dealership installed them, but I was so busy checking out the car I didn't watch them do it.
ok ,thatnks ,mine was already installed thats why i did not know if they came with it.atleast now he knows where to find them if the other owner installed them [which he should have]
when you put it on, the cargo net stretches pretty tight. we put ours on a year ago & forgot about it. the roof fits over very nicely & it has never been an issue regardless of how much stuff we cram into the back. best of luck. bub
