Yes, you can. But I dont think directly from CCW. I believe if you want them chromed before receiving them, they send them out to be chromed at their place of choice. Then they come to you. Obviously its extra $$$.

Im sure somebody will be in soon with a couple of locations where you can get chroming done. One I know of is West Coast Corvettes. You can also buy CCW's from them, so thats an option.

IMO, the 505a wheel is the best looking one. And yes, chroming them would be a lot less maintenance. I saw a set of the chrome ones from West Coast Corvettes a couple of years ago - simply stunning.

West Coast Corvettes sells a chrome version of the 505a. I have them on my car. The only problem is that I believe you have to buy them with a tire package.

I bought CCW's SP16A's direct from CCW and sent them to WCC to have chromed.

Waiting on their return. I did it for the same reason as you stated, less maintenance.

I went with a 19 x 11 up front and 20 x 12.5 in the rear.

I have owned 2 sets of polished wheels (CCW and HRE) and I gave up on them
My current wheels are 3 pieces wheels with chrome centers and polished lips. This way, if I hit a spot hole and bend my wheel, I only need to replace the lip which is just around $150-$200 a piece.
The center piece is the most expensive one.
Look like you are going to the right direction
Good luck with your choice of wheels!

-Mike

505 is good, but a LOT of people have them. SP500 are beautiful wheels, and they are pretty damned close to the HRE 545r's that I have. But, I'm a sucker for the classics. They're mean as hell.

You can get them direct from CCW in Chrome. I have the SP20A's in Chrome, but if they would have had the SP500's when I ordered mine I would have got those

I have been reading a lot threads on wheels. The SP20As are the one's I'm thinking of going with because of the looks. And I was planning on a chrome finish based upon all the discussion about ease of maintenance.

Is there that much of a difference maintenance wise. And, as I like to polish the entire inside of the wheel, will I just be adding work by going with the SP20As? The stock polished look great for about a day antil they get dirty.

Just asking.
