Default I finally did it!

Went and got my first mod -- a Halltech Stinger intake! It's all downhill from here, folks. Exhaust, headers and hi-flow cats are next!

Before I put it in, though, I have a question: Do I need to oil the filter first? There's nothing to indicate that on the instructions or website.

Comments are appreciated!

If memory is correct Jim pre-oils his filters. You can rub your fingers on the filter to see if it's oiled.

Congrats Tim, that was my very first mod also we know how that went Anyway to answer your ? I don't think they come oiled. Just go to any parts place and get K&N filter oil, I got it in a spray can very easy. Or pm me and we can get together and you can get some of mine 1 can will last for many years. By the way now that you are getting air in you have to get it out via headers,hi-flo cats, Borla stingers Just tell your wife the car won't run right until you get exhaust

Hey Don! Yeah, I'm working on the rest of it. Gonna take some time, but it will happen! Went for an extended drive yesterday, and I think she sounds a bit meaner (the car, not the wife). Definitely better response. Thanks for the offer, too! I'll have to give you a yell.
