Out cruising today and . . .
a car full of high school boys pulled up beside me at a stop light on the highway.
The guy riding shotgun stuck his head out the window and said,
“That’s a bad *** car, Sir.”
I replied with “Thank you very much”.
When the light turned green I let them hear the Borlas and at the next stop light, they were laughing and giving thumbs up.
Probably couldn’t believe that the “Sir” wrapped the Vette up to 5K RPM and grabbed 2nd.

I love to see a small boys eyes when he see my car. They get the bigest smile, and you can tell he's thinking one of these days that will be me.

I like to hear stories like this, my corvette experience started when I was 10, when I got my 1st ever ride in my Uncle's 1963 red Stingray..

And when you throw a wave at them, they smile and tell their parents. It is a great feeling to see what you can do (esspecially the smaller things) to make the kids smile.

My wife and I were killing some time yesterday out of town (in the C5) waiting for one of our favorite resteraunt's to open. We pulled into a Chrysler dealer lot (my wife likes Sebring Vert's
) and there were a couple of young boys (prolly bout 10 or 11) that yelled "Look dad, there's a Corvette!!". We drove through the lot and when we started back out the same two boys were standing there with this look of "awe" on their faces
.....I wished I'd taken a picture. You could tell their were future Forum Members!!!
Looks like there is hope................................

Nice. Where I'm from only ricers would do that to strut their stuff.
I wish we had more fast cars around here. The big boys down here are DSMs and F-bodies.
