What cam?
hey guys
i just pulled my 427 C5R motor out b/c the oil rings andhead gasket were shot. Im giving the motor to DRM to re-fresh... A quick question though, while the motor is out, i want to change the cam. the current cam spec is:
Comp Cam: custom grind. have build sheet in hand.
valve Lift: .630
tappet lift: 293
duration @ .050
intake 244
exhaust: 244
lobe seperation 112.0
lobe lift: .36 both exhaust/intake
i think this is a mild cam for my motor correct? What kind/spec cam should i go with? Something large for my 427, yet able to maintain driveability. and if someone was interested, i would sell my current cam.
